About The Committee for Life

 

Led by Nicholas Cardinal Cheong Jin Suk , the Committee for Life in the Archdiocese of Seoul was established on October 5, 2005. Under the direct control of the Seoul Archdiocese, the Committee acts as a social organization, working to protect the dignity of human life and supporting adult stem cell research.

The Committee for Life expresses the continuous national will of the Catholic Church by operating the Life Campaign Headquarters, which propagates the culture of respecting human life.  The committee has instituted a Planning & Publicizing Team to lead publicity and education. It has also created and supervises the Medical Research Headquarters.  The Catholic Institute of Cell Therapy was launched in order to help advance research studies and clinical trials related to adult stem cells.
