AAAS  American Association for the Advancement of Science Founded in 1848, and now the world’s largest general scientific society, AAAS is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science around the world by serving as an educator, leader, spokesperson and professional association.  AAAS publishes the journal Science.   FASEB  Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology A coalition of independent member societies that serve the interests of biomedical and life scientists, particularly those related to public policy issues.  FASEB publishes The FASEB Journal.
