Welcome to the new Stem Cells Portal!   For those of you who have been with us for a while now, thank you for helping to make the Portal so popular!  Our newly designed site has been developed to provide you with easier navigation through our wide variety of resources, as well as more interactive features to help keep everyone in the stem cell community in contact with each other and informed about the latest news.

For those of you who are new to the Portal, here’s a bit more about us:We are a resource provided by the STEM CELLS Journal, published by AlphaMed Press.  The top ranked scientific journal devoted solely to stem cells, STEM CELLS has an impact factor of 7.924.  The STEM CELLS Portal aims to support stem cell researchers worldwide, by providing access to the huge variety of stem cell resources in one convenient place, and by forming an online community of stem cell labs and researchers.

We will regularly feature different resources, societies and labs, keep you updated with the latest stem cell news and publications, and provide a thorough listing of conferences, workshops, and training opportunities.  We will provide access to stem cell banks and registries throughout the world, protocols, information about grants and awards, and educational resources.  Also, each month we will highlight a paper form each section of the STEM CELLS Journal, and provide an open forum for you to discuss this research, as well as other topics.

Our new STEM CELLS Portal is very much about building an online community, facilitating interaction and discussion, and is FREE to join.  We encourage you to sign up for our newsletter, join our online community of labs, take part in discussions about recent research articles and other topics in our online forum, find out what’s on the mind of our Editors at STEM CELLS in their blogs, contact us with any information that you would like featured or circulated to the stem cell research community, and provide comments and suggestions.  To find out more about partnering with us to help promote and support stem cell research, contact us.
