Founded in 1848, and now the world’s largest general scientific society, AAAS is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science around the world by serving as an educator, leader, spokesperson and professional association.  AAAS publishes the journal Science.

AACR  American Association for Cancer Research
The oldest and largest scientific organization in the world focused on cancer research.  They foster the exchange of knowledge and new ideas among scientists dedicated to cancer research, provide training opportunities for researchers, and increase public understanding of cancer.  AACR  publishes six peer-reviewed scientific journals and CR, a magazine for cancer survivors, patient advocates, their families, physicians and scientists.

ANZSCDB  Australia and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology
One of Australia's oldest Scientific Societies, the ANZSCDB aims to enhance Australian and New Zealand research and encourage international collaborations, and supports senior and early-career researchers, as well as students.

A national voluntary health agency whose mission is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.”

ANN  American Academy of Neurology
An international professional association of more than 21,000 neurologists and neuroscience professionals dedicated to providing the best possible care for patients with neurological disorders.

APDBN  Asia-Pacific Developmental Biology Network
Promotes the exchange of scientific information relevant to developmental biology in the Asia-Pacific region, fosters the activities of students and researchers in these fields, facilitates research, training, education and collaboration at the national, institutional, laboratory and individual levels, and promotes public awareness, understanding and appreciation of developmental biological concepts and research.

ASCB  American Society for Cell Biology
Founded in 1960 to bring the varied facets of cell biology together, provide training and development opportunities, and to keep Congress and the American public informed about the importance of biomedical research.  ASCB publishes the journals Molecular Biology of the Cell (MBC) and CBE—Life Sciences Education (CBE-LSE). 

ASCR  Adult Stem Cell Research Network
A project of the Cell Therapy Foundation, designed to be a reliable source of information for the public regarding adult stem cell research, as well as to be a community of practice and collaboration among fellow researchers.

ASH  American Society of Hematology
The mission of ASH is to further the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders affecting the blood, bone marrow, and the immunologic, hemostatic and vascular systems, by promoting research, clinical care, education, training, and advocacy in hematology.  ASH publishes the journal Blood.

ASNTR  American Society for Neural Therapy and Repair
Composed of basic and clinical neuroscientists who utilize a variety of technologies to better understand the way the nervous system functions and establish new procedures for its repair in response to trauma or neurodegenerative disease.

BSCB  British Society for Cell Biology
Promotes the advance of research in all branches of cell biology and encourages the interchange of information via meetings and conferences.  Also helps to raise awareness of science policy issues in the UK.

BSCDB  Belgian Society for Cell and Developmental Biology
Organization for scientists in Belgium, which organizes conferences and workshops, supports students, and offers grants and awards.

BSDB  British Society for Developmental Biology
A  society open to all who have an interest in the science of Developmental Biology, including students and lecturers/researchers at all levels.  Represents developmental biology to external organizations in the UK and Europe and organizes scientific meetings.

CTS Cell Transplant Society

EHA  European Hematology Association

EuroStemCell European Consortium for Stem Cell Research
The EuroStemCell consortium brings together sixteen partners, integrating a broad range of disciplines and combining the expertise of the best laboratories in Europe . HSANZ  Hematology Society of Australia and New Zealand
Aims to inform members of the most recent developments in haematology, and to advance knowledge and inspire continued professional development in this discipline.
 
HUPO  Proteome Biology of Initiative aims to provide a platform for researchers from both stem cell and proteomic communities to define pressing issues in stem cell biology requiring proteomic analysis and to initiate collaborative projects.

IFATS  International Federation of Adipose Therapeutics and Science
Brings together different disciplines within the field of adipose biology in order to share knowledge, influence policy, exchange new ideas, and develop new technology derived from and directed toward adipose tissue.

ISCT  International Society for Cellular Therapy
Professional organization for those working or interested in cell-based research, processing, manipulation, and clinical translation.

ISCF  International Stem Cell Forum
Made up of twenty one funders of stem cell research from around the world, the ISCF encourages international collaboration and funding support for stem cell research, with the overall aim of promoting global good practice and accelerating progress in this vitally important area of biomedical science.
 
ISCI  International Stem Cell Initiative
A worldwide collaborative effort to establish basic criteria and techniques that will underpin the eventual development of applications for Human Embryonic Stem Cells in human medicine.

ISD  International Society of Differentiation
Aims to encourage and develop research and communication in the fields of cell and developmental biology, molecular biology and oncology through meetings and publications.

ISDB  International Society for Developmental Biologists
A non-profit scientific association which has as its aim the promotion of the study of developmental
biology. To this effect, the ISDB also organizes and supports scientific meetings and workshops.

ISEH  International Society for Experimental Hematology – Society for Hematology and Stem Cells

ISNFR  International Society for Neural Feedback and Research

A Canadian venture that brings together over 50 leading scientists to investigate the potential of stem cells, and be a catalyst for enabling the translation of stem cell research into clinical applications, commercial products, or public policy.
 
SSSCR  Student Society for Stem Cell Research
The SSSCR network spans over 10 countries and 100 institutions consisting of students, researchers, patient advocates, and policy makers united by the purpose of finding treatments and cures to debilitating conditions.

TERMIS  Tissue Engineering International and Regenerative MedicineSociety
