Our senior editors are delighted to celebrate the scientific advances made by a young investigator whose research has advanced our understanding of stem cell biology, thus fostering the future of their clinical applications. “We are doubly honored to make this award in partnership with the City and University of Kragujevac, Serbia on October 15, 2011,” said Dr. Martin J. Murphy, executive editor of STEM CELLS.

This prize is currently co-sponsored by the City and University of Kragujevac, with the winner presenting at the 2011 Symposium. The STEM CELLS Editors support the efforts of these emerging researches and encourage the development of these young investigators who are making significant impacts in this field.
