Developing the Regenerative Medicine Workforce

The availability of a skilled technical workforce for regenerative medicine research, clinical translation, and scaled manufacturing is crucial to this rapidly expanding field. The RegenMed Development Organization and STEM CELLS Translational Medicine are sponsoring a webinar, "Developing the Regenerative Medicine Workforce," on Wednesday, November 10, from 11:30 am - 1 pm EST. Leaders from regenerative medicine research and manufacturing, university and community college bioscience programs, biomanufacturing enterprises, and professionals in workforce development will benefit from this presentation on the skill needs and gaps in regenerative medicine and their implications for practice and policy.

Stem Cell Research and Pay-to-Participate Trials Webinar

A live panel discussion about the value and perils of paid participation in stem cell research and clinical trials.

Typically, patients do not have to pay to participate in clinical trials; however, as research funding continues to shrink, the growth of pay-to-participate trials has increased. In this webinar, a panel of experts will discuss the benefits of this research funding model as well the potentials for misuse and ethical concerns.
